3-Day Amboseli Safari

Drive south toward Amboseli National Park, famed for its postcard views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The journey takes you through the Athi Plains and rural homesteads before reaching the park by midday. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, then take some time to settle in.

In the afternoon, set out on your first game drive across Amboseli’s open plains. This park is home to some of Africa’s largest elephant herds, often seen walking in family groups with Kilimanjaro’s snowy peak rising in the distance. Keep your eyes open for lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and abundant birdlife. As the sun sets, return to your lodge for dinner and an evening of relaxation.

Spend the entire day exploring Amboseli on morning and afternoon game drives. Early mornings provide the best chance of seeing Kilimanjaro’s peak clearly, while evenings bring cooler air and increased wildlife activity. Amboseli is known not only for elephants but also for spotted hyenas, buffalo, wildebeest, and over 400 bird species.

Between drives, relax at your lodge, enjoy the swimming pool, or simply soak in the breathtaking scenery.
